Weekly pool session at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, a great opportunity to practise or learn skills: strokes, edging, bracing, rescues, roll, back deck roll, hand roll etc. Some instruction will be provided.

£7 for club members or £12 for non-club members (which can be deducted from membership fees should you wish to join after). Signup via posts on club Facebook group (posted around a week prior).

Meet poolside at 7:30pm for payments and boat collection, to be on the water from 8-9pm.

We provide boat, paddle and helmet. Wear a swimsuit and shorts/leggings/T-shirt as appropriate. For rolling and rescues, a spray deck will be needed and nose clip & goggles are recommended.

We have 12 white-water & 2 touring club boats to use on site, but we can have up to 16 boats in the pool. If you are bringing your own boat, it must be clean and have been fresh water washed.

On arrival, tell reception that you are there for the kayak session – They will let you through and someone should be poolside to greet you. First-timers, don’t hesitate to message us with any questions!

Some operating requirements from the centre:
A. Handle boats with care to avoid damage to pool surface
B. No seal launches to avoid damage to pool surface
C. Boat entry & exit via shallow end of pool only
D. Helmets must be worn by all participants on the water
E. No free swimming whilst boats are on the water
