Thames Tidefest is an annual event to celebrate the recreational and
environmental importance of the River Thames to Londoners. It is based at
Strand on the Green, Chiswick with events at other locations along the
Tideway. Running from 10am to 6pm it’s a day packed with loads of great activities for all the family.
There’s boat trips on the Thames and the Lea, film shows, paddle-boarding and kayaking taster sessions (here at Edge), river dipping, guided foreshore walks and visits to Eel Pie Island, Oliver’s Island and the historic Lot’s Ait boatyard.
We have an angling competition, nature reserve visits, artists displays, seine netting, live fish tanks, children’s games, stalls, music, refreshments and much, much more.
